The Christian Couples’ Fellowship, Kaduna Zone has started a family virtual prayer meeting as a platform to bring members of the zone together to pray by 8 pm every Friday. Couples in the zone saw the platform as a veritable tool to complement its regular meetings and to maintain constant communication in the face of the high cost of transportation necessitated by the increase in the price of fuel.
The recent meeting began with prayers followed by worship which was led by one of the children in the Zone. The exhortation was taken from Isaiah 3:10, encouraging members to remain hopeful because it shall be well with them, and they shall eat the fruits of their labor. Members were also encouraged from Psalm 27:4-5 to be in the presence of God through prayers because, in the presence of God, there is fullness of joy, peace, protection, and provision.
The online meeting concluded with prayers to invite the Holy Spirit to guide our families and children and for God’s provision. Prayers were also made for the leadership of CCF, for peace in Miango, and for a successful national retreat. The prayer meeting which lasted for forty minutes and was rounded up with praise and worship led by our children.
No fewer than 8 couples (families) representing the four groups in the Zone have so far hosted the virtual prayer meeting.
