Children Shows that Promote LGBTQ+ Ideologies

In this fast-paced age of technology, where there is increased access to ideologies from cultures around the globe, parents need to take a closer look at the content their children consume, particularly from cable television.

I shall be doing a series of expositions on the different kinds of content that we, as Christian parents, should watch out for, and shield our children’s minds from.

For this slot, let us dwell on shows that promote LGBTQ+ ideologies and where they can be found.

So, for many who do not know, LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, two-spirit, and so on. The phenomenon is moving and gaining momentum worldwide, and one of the tools that the enemy has chosen to use to promote these ideologies is the media, and most recently, through children’s shows or “cartoons” as we popularly call them.

Many modern children’s programs are teaching and showing our children that it is okay to be who they feel like being. “You may feel like a boy today, and return to feeling like a girl tomorrow, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!”

Some of these programs show characters shape-shifting, like the Double Trouble character in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Others can choose to be Gender non-conforming like in Sailor Moon, not identifying as male or female.

The most alarming trend is that many of those “cute” children shows that we used to love and cherish have come under the evil eyes of the promoters of these ideologies.

The list is endless, but be wary of new episodes of Peppa Pig, Arthur, Doc McStuffins, and even our beloved Sesame Street was not left out!

Parents should therefore look out for and shield their children from the following shows which are broadcast across cable channels such as Disney Jr., Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Cartoon Network, PBS, and several others.

  1. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Catradora: The Kiss ???? She-Ra and the Princesses of Power | Netflix After School – YouTube
  2. Steven Universe https://youtu.be/qvIW5lgMNpc (A marriage between two women) Cartoon Network
  3. The Legend of Korra
  4. Duck takes Disney
  5. Adventure time
  6. The owl House Disney Channel
  7. Craig of the Creek
  8. Star vs. the Forces of Evil
  9. Gravity falls
  10. Andi Mack
  11. Rug Rats
  12. The Loud House Nickoledeon

This is not an exhaustive list of similar shows. We need to be on the lookout and screen all children’s shows on TV. as many producers are looking to gain cheap popularity by including “trends” in their shows.

In our next slot, we shall be x-raying children’s books with LGBTQ+ content.
