CCF Kano Zone holds first End-of-Year Outreach Dinner

Christian Couples Fellowship Kano Zone had its first End of Year Outreach Dinner on the 17th of December 2022. The Outreach which was held at COCIN Naibawa had many of our members and invited guests in attendance. The highlights of the program include inspiring testimonies from some couples and the Exhortation.

Blessing and Moses Maidamisa, Maiyanga Mukaila, Gloria and Henry Adefisan, and Bridget and Francis Adefisan all testified to how God has used the discussions and lessons from the CCF meetings to improve their marriages.

Moses Maidamisa spoke about how his initial concept of marriage was about male superiority and he was busy ordering his wife around until he came to learn courtesy of the fellowship that marriage is about partnership. He also recalled how he had an accident on his way to Abuja from Kano. The accident was between Kaduna and Abuja, and before he could regain consciousness at St. Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, he was already surrounded by CCF members from Kaduna Zone – people he had never known in his life. The support the family got from the brethren in Kaduna was so overwhelming that he ended up assisting some other patients in the hospital with food.

Gloria and Henry Adefisan on their part testified of how the Lord has used the fellowship to make them transparent in their marriage. They now also hold each other accountable in the marriage. They have also learned to accept the bible as superior to their individual cultures. They confessed that the Christian Couples Fellowship has really helped their marriage grow.

Mr. Mukaila who lost his wife a few months ago appreciated the warmth and love in the fellowship as members rallied around the family during the wife’s sickness, death, and burial.
