The Christian Couples’ Fellowship (CCF), Kaduna Zone had its combined breakfast morning prayer for the first quarter of the year on Saturday, 27th April 2023 at the residence of a member in Group 2.
The prayer started with praise and worship after which they delved into the word of God with the main focus on Jeremiah 29:11-13. Members were encouraged to pray believing that God will answer; however, they must go to Him with sincere hearts. Members were also encouraged to watch and pray always using the scripture in Matthew 26: 41.
The programme moved on to the prayer proper where members thanked God for His faithfulness and begged God to forgive them for not being contented and thankful enough. Prayers were also said against infirmities and for good health as healing is their bread as children of God. Prayer was also offered for their children to be greater than them spiritually and otherwise, and for them not to attract evil or be attracted to evil companions; but to always shine the light of Jesus wherever they go. Prayers were also offered for special requests.
After the prayer session, members were encouraged to stand firm lest they fall (1 Corinthians 10:12). Husbands were encouraged to consider their wives as precious treasures no matter the situation in order to obtain favor from God (Proverbs 18:22).
The program ended with members having breakfast together while exchanging pleasantries.
